OpIOS Managed Router

Would you like to enjoy a scalable and high-performance router compatible with your VoIP deployments?

Our OpIOS managed router is the ideal solution!

Equipment that matches your needs perfectly

The OpIOS 4.0 router is the latest addition to OpenIP's OpIOS range. It uses the latest technological developments related to functionality and security to meet your most demanding needs for VoIP deployments. Even as an entry-level product, the OpIOS router—as fast as it is efficient—supports a fibre optic broadband connection up to 500 Mbps.

The OpIOS router can be configured without disrupting services or inconveniencing users.

Service continuity

The OpIOS 4.0 offers the possibility to combine several Internet connections and therefore enables a Failover option. This means that if one of the Internet connections fails, the router automatically switches to another connection, which protects users from Internet downtime.

This system helps protect businesses from generic operator breakdowns by offering the flexibility to use two connections from different operators on the same equipment.

High-quality VoIP service

The OpIOS router is able to prioritise Voice flow rather than other flows (Internet, etc.) to always guarantee the highest possible quality of the Voice service.

The combination of the OpIOS, an OpenIP Internet connection and a voice OpenIP service makes it possible to prioritise the VoIP of the customer's LAN to the heart of the OpenIP Operator infrastructure. The result is exceptional quality, measurable independently, and transparency thanks to the mean opinion score (MOS) included in the details of calls made by OpenIP customers.

Easy configuration

The router is configured from an interface that can be accessed from any web browser, and configuring the equipment is simple and quick. Thanks to this interface, once customers have completed the installation with their integrator, they can independently change equipment settings (open a firewall port, add a route, etc.).

Router maintenance and lifetime warranty

The configuration of OpIOS routers is saved twice a day.

If the router is found to have a fault, a new OpIOS is sent with the existing configuration: 24 hours after reporting the incident to OpenIP's support team, the customer receives a new router ready to be plugged in. Easy as 1, 2, 3!

OpenIP also carries out daily remote maintenance to guarantee that the equipment remains stable, secure and efficient. The OpIOS router is updated automatically between 4 and 6 o'clock in the morning. It is also monitored by OpenIP 24/7 to ensure that it is functioning properly.

Remote management

This functionality makes it possible for integrators to remotely change settings on the routers of their customers or, in the event of a technical failure, for OpenIP's support teams to take control of the routers to look for and analyse the source of the problem.
