OpenIP Interconnection Rules


OpenIP, a Telecoms operator exercising a significant influence on the relevant market of fixed termination, outlines below the main conditions for interconnection to its fixed network.


Within its IP network, OpenIP sets up SIP Service Points (SSP) dedicated to the service of voice call termination on its network.

SSPs are addressable exclusively as part of a SIP protocol.


Relevant interconnection points are located as follows:

  • Equinix PA3: 114 Rue Ambroise Croizat 93200 Saint-Denis


The requirements for connecting to these points:

  • Physical: Cross-connect 1 GB LX
  • Routing: IP/BGP
  • Service: SIP
  • Redundant on our 2 Parisian POPs

R1R2: original calling network identifier. Characters in the IdLoc field transmitted by signalling in accordance with ARCEP recommendations.

Calls to OpenIP that do not meet this requirement will be increased by €0.0003/min.


C1C2: caller location identifier. For geographical fixed numbers, the location is determined by the caller's ZABPQ. For non-geographic landline numbers and mobile numbers, the location is determined by the C1C2 characters in the IdLoc field transmitted by signalling in accordance with ARCEP recommendations.
